Setting Business Hours For Your Location

Modified on Wed, 16 Jul at 8:56 PM

With Visitly's latest update, you can now define Business Hours for each of your locations. This allows for better control and monitoring, especially when paired with Watchlist alerts for after-hours activity.

How To Set Business Hours

1.  Log in to your Visitly Dashboard.

2. Select the location you want and click Edit.

3. Go to the General Tab.

4. Scroll down to locate the Business Hours card.
5.  Click Add. Set your desired hours for each day of the week. You can mark specific days as closed if needed.

6.  Once your hours are set, click Save to apply them.

What Happens After Business Hours?

When someone signs in outside your defined business hours, their visit will automatically go into review. Because of this, badges won’t automatically print. Instead:

  • The visit must first be reviewed and approved from your Visitly Dashboard.

  • Once approved, you can manually print the badge from the portal.

Want To Get Alerts For After-Hours Sign-Ins?

Once Business Hours are configured, you can create a Global Watchlist Rule to be notified if someone signs in outside of those hours.

Learn how to set it up here: Create A Global Watchlist Rule.
